9 Muharram 1428

Lately, I did a lot of thinking. General life related matters. Maybe it's the sastera module i've been having. All the texts and critical readings are the cause? Maybe. Or perhaps the DPI i'v been attending?Kesimpulannya, I have questions after questions in mind.....

Tomorrow, the 10th of Muharram is the Day of Asyura. What's the historical significance of this day?

1. Nabi Nuh's a.s. ark came ashore on Mount Judiyy

2. Nabi Musa a.s. was saved by Allah s.w.t from Fir'aun

3. Arabs used to change Ka'abah's curtain on this day

So how do we observe this auspicious day? Puaser laa =D

I hope that by fasting on the Day of Asyura, Allah will forgive last year's sins. *narrated by Imam Muslim.
In fact, not only we are encouraged to fast on the 10th but actually the whole of first 10 days of Muharram anndd on the 13th, 14th, 15th of Muharram.

So ape lagi tunggu? Grab the 'clearance sale'....... to clear sins! While stock lasts. heh.

In doing so, we hope for His rahmah to begin the new year with. Insya Allah.

I know what I want for my birthday. Sonyericsson's earpiece. I want it badly. I just bought it for like, a month and it's lost. And that thing is not cheap. Jadi, kwn-kwn ku tersayang, I just need that. Boley?=D

That aside, in my DPI class, apparently there are 4 Khairunnisa'(s)!! FOUR la okay.hee. There is also a guy by the name Khairul Rijal. LoLz. This, I find amusing. tatawu knape=D

Do you think that the world is small? Yes indeed. 2 of my classmates are somehow related to me. Adib's elder and younger sister were both frm wak tanjong. They are my seniors. I was like, ko hilma/shahidah nye adek/abang?!! im not gonna comment why this little fact caught me off guard k. *grins*

Another is Emelda. She's Irwan's good fren since JC/bahas time. We actually had lunch way way before I met her in N/I/E. All this while (1 semester) I didnt notice?! hahha. Probably because we barely talk in lectures. She claimed that im with the good/nice clique of galfrens. ye ke fiza? yati? timah? firda? kasha? ryn? yana? hurhurhur.

Hi aaall!! Miss me? I doubtt. heh. been occupying myself with sch related stuff. realy sei tak bohong. Carpooling, was not such a great idea if you happen to be the driver. driving manual car. Hari2, setiap pagi, massive jam. Slamat ade Adib, teman sekelas yang nak mengendalikan vanpooling. huhu. Living the primary school days. Bawak jempot2 lagi eh Firda? Bley sarapan *grins*

Gotta share this with you. I have a sastera moden module and it's being taught by Puan R. She is....beyond expectation! She simply swept me off my feet! knowledge is at her fingertip la okay. Esp in Islam history. Her introduction lesson was one to remember. She asked, 'Bilakah Islam bermula?' My classmates answers:

1. Tahun Gajah
2. 600+ Masehi
3. Nabi Adam a.s.

Well my galfrens were looking at me, i guess expecting me to know. *turned red* sheesh. Err..I know Rasul dilahirkan tahun..err..507 Masehi? Wrong Khairunnisa'. It's 570 Masehi. Dan Islam bermula sejak wahyu yang pertama diturunkan. 610Masehi. That day, the very first day of school, she left me dumbfounded. Now where did I place my ikhtisar sejarah Islam?

All the more I should put extra effort for DPI. I had feqh muamalat and ulum quran last week. Feqh was okay, xcept when some pakciks were enquiring about 'poligami'. Pakcik, kite sedang belajar Feqh m.u.a.m.a.l.a.t. Sidetrack tak agak2.hahha.

I have a lot of new things going on...days passed so quickly....and soon im gonna be twenty-three. Teringat pulak kat Kak Yana's advice.

went for rock climbing yesterday-yesterday. it realy rock \m/. it was my first time and surely not the last, insya Allah. my determination usually drives me to do things that i might not do if i were to sit down and consider or ponder. driving for one, has somehow made me a brave-er person. heh. takdela berani maner pon...erm i take more risks than i used to. as a result, i managed to rock-climbbb.huhur. no rope, no harness. nothing. free falling bebeh=D sebenarnye batu tu tak lah tinggi sgt. 4ft or so. but still, i had terrific time!

'Tak Tercapai Akalmu' dah abes=) Happy ending of course. And I'm so in chirpy mood.hee. What am I talking about? A drama on TV1 every weekdays, 11am. Simple story yet it holds significant twist. Carl (Adi Putra), luckily it was not too late. Nurul Iman (Lisdawati) loved you all along and you just too blind to see. urggh. Worse, she was match-made and got engaged to a casanova like Muaz. Actually it was both of them at fault. I am so sure that both of them were aware of each other's feelings but were just err...e/g/o. Whateverr.
I'm so dramatic aren't I? heee. Im so happy they are finally together=D k stooop it la sei. It's just a drama.hurhur.

1 week since last post? Been occupying myself with some stuffs. Actually I've written abit few days ago but decided to scrap it. Anws some updates...I've signed up Dip in Islamic Studies by Perdaus. It's been awhile since I last attended religious class, that is my confession. And I'm beginning to thirst for it. I hope I can juggle both Dips. If there's a will, there's a way, ryt? Insya Allah. Furthermore, Khairunnisa' (Nisa1) is also joining. Ade teman seperjuangan=)

School's reopening soon. 8th Jan. 6 days more...looking forward to it? Kind of but more of anticipating tons of assignments. Oh yar, I've received my results. Alhamdulillah I cleared all modules. But I have to work harder IF I want to further. Next semester is one cramp semester I foresee. Hmm..u know what Mr, comin back home this break might not be a good idea. That is, if you'r comin back for me(=

Yesterday Eidul Adha was good. Like every year, we went to Msjd Omar Kmpg Melaka. Did you know that there were more goats than sheeps? Goats are creepy. Or at least yesterday's goats were. Not creepy in a bad way, but just that they made these human-like sounds when being dragged to be slaughtered. At the same time they were pitiful. But insya Allah, they'll be among the jannah's occupants.

One more update. Im doing a couple of matchmakings. hurhur. It's unintentionally really. I'm getting good at this you know. Like real.hehhe. Saye hanye menumpang bahagia melihat teman-teman membina 'masjid'.=))
